At First Kids, we are committed to creating a safe, loving, exciting, Bible-based environment for kids; one that will activate their minds and warm their hearts.
We offer a variety of worship and learning experiences for your little ones, from birth through 5th grade, during our Sunday morning services at 9:30, 11:00. We also offer Sunday and Wednesday evening Children’s programming.
A nursery is available on Sunday morning for children, newborn through 3 years old, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The nursery is also available for many studies and activities during the week. We have wonderful paid nursery staff so that children will have consistency instead of having to adjust to a new person every time they go to the nursery.

We are a Safe Sanctuaries Congregation!
The General conference of the United Methodist Church, in April 1996, and the Western North Carolina Annual Conference, in June 2004, adopted resolutions aimed at reducing the risk of abuse of children and youth in the church. This would include sexual, emotional, physical and ritual abuse and neglect.
The purpose for establishing our Safe Sanctuary policy and the procedures is to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth in all of our children and youth in the church. In all of our ministries with children and youth, our congregation is committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ so that each child and youth will be “surrounded by steadfast love, established in the faith and confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal”.
Safe Sanctuary Trainings are held regularly. Background Checks are done on all staff and volunteers who work with our children/youth at the church. Please contact Edward Ramsey at email@example.com
